Lights of colored bulbs crisscrossing the streets add to the CNY mood! My first attempt of a night shot and I love it...

A late post. *Thank you Li Lian and Amilia*

My first visit to the new outlet at Mid Valley. Paddington House of Pancakes serves more than 100 types of pancakes from all the world, including pannekoeks, galettes, American stacks, poffertjes, blitzes, blinis…. etc and etc! Besides the sweet dessert pancakes that most Asians are accustomed to, PHOP emphasizes on the savoury ones...

Stomach growling after work... It's time to hunt for food and I found this...
A bowl of Handmade Oyster Mee Sua. Superior flavour and texture with generous amount of fresh oysters, shredded chicken and coriander leaves... don't forget the chilli paste! It taste like shark fin soup... Worth a try!

A much awaited one day trip to the state that is abundantly rich, not just in natural resources but also history and folklore. Although I've been there for quite a lot of times but it's still fun to visit all the attraction spots, snapping photos, reading the story boards again and again as a tourist...

This is only Part 1, more to come soon...

think of love...
think of roses and red hearts...
quiet walks...
and very soft, tranquil music...

Happy Chinese New Year! 2008 is the year of Rat but it's more like the year of Mickey Mouse! Whatever it is, I hope this New Year will bring greater prosperity and abundant joy and blessings for all.
Just like the Christians with their Christmas tree, the Chinese have their pink cherry blossom tree that symbolize rebirth, prosperity and wealth so I bought the cherry blossoms from Jusco and peonies from IKEA to decorate the living room.
I decorate a basket of mandarin oranges too!

The Prosperity Meal is back and I was attracted by the advertisement... now they have the foldover so I decided to give it a try.
I ordered a Prosperity Chicken Foldover set, comes together with the twister fries and green tea. It looks good but the taste was rather disappointing. The sauce is too thick and spicy, with lots of black pepper in every bite! Make sure you order a large drink or you'll have sore throat the next day.
Even if it's only available once in a year, I think I wouldn't want another Prosperity meal anymore... Nevertheless, I love the curly fries!
*Pssst! Quite a messy meal, DO NOT order this on your first date or it will make you look like a slob :p
